I use this in the chicken coop
I use this to monitor one of my chicken coops at night since I lost some chicks earlier in the year. It does a great job and, while I never did catch the predator, I did capture pictures of a rat raiding the chicken food at night on multiple occasions, which led me to start using a rat-proof feeder. I also caught some great Facebook-worthy video of one of my roosters when he was first learning to crow – very funny. Four stars because this thing can really burn through the batteries if you are not careful with the settings, but the quality of the video and pictures is quite good.
Good pictures, glitchy software, limited support
Update: removing a star due to more problems and lack of support from Bushnell.
software bug – firmware update fixes it
I bought model 119874) mid-2017. About a month ago it stopped saving my settings and kept reverting to the default settings. I installed a firmware update from Bushnell that fixed the problem. Thought I would pass this along. The update from Bushnell does not say it is a bug fix.

Works great, setup is a bit easier than my old Bushnell game cam but could still use some work.
Had a different cam which took better pictures, especially in low light
Had a different cam which took better pictures, especially in low light, but was far worse regarding battery life. this takes decent pictures and the batteries LAST a LONG time. Attached picture shows a coyote, about 25′ from the camera.
Beats my friends Cuddy
Great picture clarity, very fast trigger, and a great motion range. It has two programs where you can select a daily time range and frequency setting where it will automatically take a picture, even if the motion is not triggered. I have mine set for every 1/2 hour for several early morning hours and again for several late afternoon to dusk hours.
Excellent Product for the Knowledgable User
I have used several name brand cameras, and consider myself well versed in trailcam’s. These are by far the best cameras for the price. Excellent day/night pictures IF setup properly. It has all the features to control exposure to tailor to your needs. This camera has a wide range of settings for each situation you could want to capture. Be sure and get a 16 GB card or larger because these are high resolution cameras and have a phenomenal trigger, you will get pictures your other name brand cameras missed.
