And going back and forth with those wasted a TON of my time

 on April 8, 2017
Very tuff to get up and running, have only had ONE tech. support the took the time to help. The rest just kept sending me links of the manual that I ALREADY to the time and expense to down load and it is no real help, too generic. And going back and forth with those wasted a TON of my time. Still to this day getting on line from my android is mostly another waste of time. I’m no dummy with electronics, but this item made me stumble. The language is of their own especially on the DVR. Did get two cameras running so far, but the DVR program doesn’t work with just one click. Was was hoping for better since this is my second Q-See unit. A similar unit I bought for my sons restaurant that one was a no brainer, and these two are very similar that’s why I bought this one.

Great dvr but noisy

Coming from an old qsee dvr this one is fast and easy to setup. Works with mixed resolution cameras like from 1080p to 480 ones… network setup is supposed to be easy but not without personal vpn if you have tmobile. And if you want to put this in your bedroom or livingroom than definetly replace its fan. Very easy and a must. Look for a good brand 12v fan…. ptz cameras works great too.

Good system for the price

This system is very decent for the price. The camera’s are great for the day time and are extremely clear. Night time they are good but not the best. The system is very easy to setup to use on your phone and/or computer. I will say, However, you need a very stable 12 volt power supply for the camera’s or they will not work properly. Do not skimp on the power supply or you will think your camera’s are going bad when it is actually the power supply. I am very happy with the quality and easy of setup for this system. I would recommend it.

Uses a mix of old qt and new qth cameras. New qth cameras are head and shoulders above the old qt cameras. Clarity is improved so much, I will be replacing old cameras asap.
