D-Link has announced a new Mydlink app which allows for remote viewing as well as cloud recording options. When it comes to recording options this wifi indoor camera has you covered with the ability to choose to record to a MicroSD card or your mydlink cloud account with free and paid options. Watch recordings and stream wireless live HD video to your smartphone or tablet with the all-new mydlink app. This wifi camera works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant allowing you to stream live video to a compatible Google Chromecast, Fire TV, Alexa Show or Alexa Spot and with IFTTT integration you can trigger other devices based on motion detection from your camera.
Small, discreet, good image, installs easily; but two design flaws
I have a wide assortment of security cameras, including tilt-and-swivel models, older non-HD models, and circular style HD models. These new D-Link security cameras are my new favorite. The form factor is excellent — very small and discreet, for situations where you don’t want to feel like you’re in a bank. Power supply is a standard micro USB, which is an excellent choice, since it means you don’t lose the whole camera if the power supply goes. Resolution (720) and viewing angle (120) are not as impressive as D-Link’s Omna HD camera (1080 and 180, respectively), but this HD Mini is also about one-third the cost of the Omna, so the price-performance rating of this model is excellent. Installation was very easy with the D-Link app — worked the first time when I added the new cameras to my existing list of devices. In terms of physical design (very discreet), performance (good viewing angle, good resolution), and price, this is an excellent security camera. In fact, in my opinion, it’s the best choice on the market right now.
This has been a positive buy so far!
I don’t understand the bad reviews,
Good camera, Google home integration broken/nonexistent
I bought these for home security purposes. They replaced an old 932L and a 5020L. I like them better than both old models straight out. The 120° coverage outstrips either old model and even relieves the need for pan/tilt coverage. They have the ability to listen remotely, which is nice, but lack the ability to talk back. The only real pitfall is their lack of any GUI to change settings. That made it difficult to configure for remote viewing in my IP camera viewer app, but I was able to figure it out. That lack of an interface doesn’t really get in the way enough to lower the rating. Enjoy!

Works as expected and picture quality is good. I will say the app lags often and 1/5 times the app won’t connect with the camera and you have to retry. Overall that camera picture quality is good and the camera is very small.
